Hi! I 'm the owner and curriculum director of Austin Stay n Play. I earned a Master's in Education in 2009 and a Bachelor's in Business Management in 2005 I'm a certified elementary teacher and certified in English as a second language. My teaching philosophy comes from my belief that children learn best when they are actively engaged and have time to reflect on what they learn. Positive feedback and reinforcement are key essentials in children’s learning. Throughout my career I have gained experience in working with children of all ages pre-k through 5th grade. I truly believe that early childhood education is important in developing a love for school and lifelong learners. Thank you so much for checking out us out! Hope to met you and your kiddos soon!

Hi, my name is Julie, AKA Annie's mom! I have been teaching Yoga for almost 10 years. I also have an extensive background teaching nursery school and special ed (through 12 th grade).
I am looking forward to teaching your children, as they teach me. I believe children learn basic, everyday skills from their peers. Sometimes, it is best to stand back and acknowledge what great "little people" they have become and how they communicate with each other. Teaching Yoga to children is a passion of mine, and I am looking forward to taking this journey with them!
